Glass Den is the culmination of activity during an artist residency at the School of Creative Arts (LCC) between 2020 - 2022. The focus of the works take into account the architecture of the campus and its purpose as a place of education to explore occupation of space through social and ecological methods. The title makes references to den as a container, or marker of private space for young people and animals to provide safety and play that becomes at odds with the material of the building within a central location in the city. The works include performances, video, sound, sculpture, installation and an artist book.
